Sub: Upgrade Utility Disk

Please update your update utilities disk.

Reason for update:

Added with October Market Data which is used for calculation ill-liquidity of stock for

margin client. (Applicable to broker firm with margin client)

The data is up to October 2002.

Note: Usually, SFC update RELATED STOCK LIST every 3 months. The last update was in

August 2002. There should be one in November 2002. However, up to the release of

this letter, POP did not see that.

Therefore, the related stock is updated to August 2002. You should get information

from SFC to update your SB system. May be you need not to do so, however, POP

suggest you to get in touch with SFC to confirm.

How to get the latest upgrade utility disk.

go to the POP Download area, select public download, Click UPGRADE.ZIP

THEN YOU WILL GET IT LOADED TO YOUR PC.

Copy to your drive, and then unzip it into a floppy disk. Then you can use it

to update your November 29,2002 (Month End) data which is used for filling up

FRR.

Other issue:

Another issue, the HSI constituent stocks will be changed on 2 Dec 2002.

A revised SBUPGRAD.ZIP will be released later. (PLEASE PAY ATTENTION OF POP'S LETTERS)

There will be 2 versions of "SB Upgrade Utility Disk" One for Nov 2002, One for Dec 2002.

Please do not ask question on this issue. We will let you know when more details is

available. For the time being, please down load the upgrade file from pop's server

and update your NOVEMBER MONTH END DATA for a proper FRR report.
